Roadtrip 2016 Fall: Vancouver - Yakima - Bend - John Day River - Port Orford - Florence - Seaside - Vancouver

Day 15 - Bandon, Coquille, Myrtle Point

The Kwans have moved in.

Could someone please tell me how long this ride is going to be?

Yeah, yeah - stay on trail.

Finally a Clinton sign - seems most of outback Washington and Oregon are on the stump for Trump side of things. Can Clinton make it to the top of the hill? We shall see soon.

This trip's wildlife picture. We always try to make a wildlife picture.

The last pitch down to the beach. And the most dangerous.

Emma Sherpa Brown Sock scales the final pitch.

At the bottom, the new electronic gate. All visitors are required to read and pass an electronic exam before the gates open. Seems they had a big problem with people ignoring the Rules and Regulations.

This prehistoric sundial has accurately fortold the tides, important births and the stock market crash of 1929 since before 1929.

The winds pick up a bit - and the sand does blow. No one is deterred - yet!

The wind is rising. We expect 50mph gusts tomorrow.

The World-Famous None Shall Pass Tangle. It is guarded by a beast so fearsome, so terrible... the bones of fifty men lie strewn about its lair.

Hillary just has signs - Donald has a whole truck.

Vote for marijuana... Save forests... but keep your cigs to yourself.

If you want access to the ATM, you must first ask Paul Bunyan.

Cat watch.

The birds stare back .....

....... and watch over the local laundry.
